The production of textiles has become increasingly global in the past decades. Some countries are specialized in the production of raw materials such as cotton or wool, others are more concentrating on tailoring. Consequently, Charles Vögele buys products from suppliers in culturally and economically diverse countries. Yet Charles Vögele expects from his suppliers to adhere to social mininum standards within the production line in order to protect the workers concerned.

Issues relating to the environment, security of production and quality were also given particular weight in line with the company's commitment to sustainability and social responsibility. Charles Vögele Group's 800 stores mainly sell the company's own collections, which are produced by external suppliers under contract. Manufacturing takes place in various countries of Southeast Asia and Europe. In the past years, supplier events were held in all of Charles Vögele's Southeast Asian producer countries with the aim of improving cooperation and providing training on various subjects.
