Charles Vögele Holding AG’s Annual General Meeting: Board proposals and reduction in par value approved

The shareholders of Charles Vögele Holding AG approved all the proposals put before them today at the company’s Annual General Meeting, which was chaired by Bernd H. J. Bothe, Chairman of the Board of Directors. In particular, the election of Professor Dr. Peter Littmann (59) to the Board of Directors for a first term of one year was agreed.

Vögele board set to be strengthened

The annual shareholders' meeting of Charles Vögele Holding AG on 5 April 2006 is being asked to approve the addition of an experienced fashion specialist to the board of directors. Dr Peter Littmann has been put forward for election by the board.

Charles Vögele increases sales and earnings in its anniversary year

Despite shrinking markets, in its anniversary year of 2005 fashion retailer Charles Vögele Group increased its net sales by 1.1% to CHF 1 348 million and almost doubled group net income to CHF 70 million.
